DALLAS, TX – Hey ladies, this post is actually for the man in your life so you may need to find a way to subtly pass it on to him (i.e. have your best friend do it). Here’s why: The Valentine’s-themed 10k/5k run, The Generational Equity Cupid Dash benefiting Make-A-Way Charities, will take place on February 18.  So why are we telling you this?  Because as a part of the event Zales is sponsoring a surprise proposal contest.  Here’s how it works:  Men who are ready to “take the plunge” should submit their best love story and a picture to info@makeawaycharities.org by February 10.

The lucky guy whose tale wins first place will propose to his girlfriend at the race with a diamond engagement ring provided (for free!) by Zales.  He’ll also leave with a matching diamond wedding band, a his-and-hers hot stone massage package from Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa, and best of all, a new fiancée.  And guys, as long as you’re entering the contest, why not spread the love to those in need by participating in the run
too?
